Disposable paper placemats ideal for an informal and quick table setting: for a business lunch, for snack time or for a dinner with friends.
23Bassi Home has thought of practical, but at the same time design placemats that represent details and decorations of 4 Italian squares:
Grammichele
The Grammichele placemat is inspired by the hexagonal shape of the urban layout of the town of Grammichele, a municipality in the province of Catania. The lines of streets and alleys blend and intertwine, in this hypothetical bird’s eye view, creating a unique and hypnotic pattern.
Naples
The Naples placemat is inspired by the shapes of Piazza Plebiscito, the beating heart of the Parthenopean city. Reinterpreting the semicircular square and the domes of the basilica, a harmonious and contemporary pattern is born.
Venice
The Venice placemat is inspired by the design of Piazza San Marco, the “living room” of the lagoon city. The geometric motifs, like large carpets, accompany visitors on their walks. The joints between the Istrian stone and the Euganean trachyte create an unforgettable pattern.
Palermo
The Palermo placemat is inspired by Piazza Pretoria in the picturesque historic center of the city. Its majestic central fountain is called “della Vergogna” (of Shame) for the nudity of the statues that created, at the time, some embarrassment to the monastery opposite.
The paper placemats are perfect to match with our plate sets
