Naples

The Carthusian monastery of San Martino
In Naples, the Carthusian monastery of San Martino stands in a setting which leaves you breathless. On the most panoramic hill of Vomero, where you can embrace in one glance Naples and its whole enchanting gulf. Our eyes devoured the exquisite floor of the area beneath the porticoes and their sixty arches and sixty-four supporting columns. The floor decoration features an interplay of chiaroscuro that is echoed on the cushions, transforming the imposing marble on which the Carthusian monks walked at the end of the 17th century into a soft cushion that encompasses centuries of Gothic, Baroque and Rococo art.
The Spagnolo Palace
Built in the 18th century, the style of the palace follows the canons of Neapolitan baroque, while the decorations follow a more rococo style. The profile of the façade turns into Bookmarks or Placeholders for your table.
